- Dutch oven
- Stock Pot
- Oven
Ingredients
- 1 - 2 Rabbits
- 3 c Stock vegetable or chicken
- 6 Potatoes, chopped
- 3 Stalks Celery, chopped
- 3 Carrots, chopped
- 2 Onions
- 1 pkg Frozen peas
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Fresh Ground Pepper
- 1/4 c Flour
Instructions
- Put rabbits in stock, cover, and simmer for 2 hours.
- Remove rabbit and reserve stock. Remove meat from bones.
- Sauté potatoes, celery, onions, peas, salt, and pepper in a Dutch oven.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Thicken reserved cooking stock with ¼ cup flour.
- Add vegetables and meat.
- Cover and bake for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
