Lake Minocqua’s Stacks Bay Boat Landing Closing Sept. 6 for Renovations

Stacks Bay Boat Landing on Brunswick Road in the town of Woodruff will be temporarily closed from approximately Sept. 6, 2018 to Nov. 16 2018 to allow for renovations.

Improvements to the landing will include a double concrete ramp with a dock in the middle and new pavement.

Boaters will need to use alternate access to Lake Minocqua during the construction period as the area will be completely closed to allow safe construction.

Other access points include town landings:

  • Near the Library
  • Thirsty Whale. Parking is limited there, so plan accordingly.
  • Minocqua Chain access is also located at the Wisconsin Valley Improvement Company Landing near the Kawagoe’s Dam,
  • Indian Mounds Campground and the
  • Lake Tomahawk Town Landing where there is a small fee.

Completed renovation will result in a landing that will be user friendly and better accommodate a wide variety of boat trailers.
