This easy to complete canned pike recipe will preserve your pike fishing fillets, providing you with fresh healthy eats all year long. As well as impressing your guests. So, when the mood hits you open a jar of this canned pike for a holiday snack or satisfy the tastebuds of your guests by pairing this recipe with some whole-grain snack crackers and a nice bottle of wine.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs ketchup
  • 1 Tbs oil (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions

1 Put fish in pint jars

2 Put ingredients on top of fish.

3 The process at 11 lbs for 100 minutes.

4 It’s preferred to debone the pike fish fillets and clean all ‘red’ meat off. However, this is only a personal preference. As the fish bones can be left intact since they will become soft under the pressure of the canning.
